An Update on Cloe...

(11/03/2009)

Hello Michelle,
I don't know if you remember us, but we adopted Cloe last year from you. She was from Buffy's litter born on 10/27/08. I wanted to send you some pictures since she has turned 1 and you can see how she looks now. She definitely looks like Tembo! She is as fiesty as ever, fresh, lovable, adorable and energetic! We all love her very much and she has a wonderful home with us!
 Anyway, enjoy the pictures.
 Sincerely,
 The Sajewicz Family

"Izzy" finally finds a family to love...

Our baby is doing well.
She slept last night form 10-6 this morning in her crate without a Peep.
She is awesome!

An update on Chevy...
(11/02/2009)

Hello!
Hope you're doin well, I know Chevy and I are! Just took a look at your site
again and saw all the cute dogs! Makes me want another one! haha. Just wanted to
send you some pictures of Chevy because she's almost a year old! She is 20 lbs
and loves to be outside and to sit in the sun...she would do that all day long
if I let her. Anyways, if you have gotten any pictures from her sisters, I would
like to see them, too to see if they look anything like Chevy now!
Thanks!!
Kathy

"Sweetheart" joins the family to grow up with "ShortCakes"!

Hi Michelle! Just a quick note to let you know Sweetheart and Shortcakes are
getting along wonderfully ! The vet says we named her right when we took her
in to be spayed- they voted her sweetest dog there! Now if I could just get
them potty trained ! Danny has thrown his back out and has barely been off
the couch for 3 weeks now. The puppies are such company for him! Shortcakes
likes to get on his back and "ride" him as he is doing his exercises.
Thanks ever so much for bringing Sweetheart to meet us and for trusting me
to bring her home on a trial basis. I can't imagine life without her now.
Love , Sandy Thomas

Cole, now known as "DJ", has found his forever home!

Thanks sooo much michelle all that information was very helpful and i've been doing my research about puppies and what to do in situations.  DJ has been a great new addition to the family..

both of my younger brothers and my mother are enjoying him so much...and i as well : )

He is an adorable puppy to have around and he loves attention...he can be very silly sometimes and as for the potty training...he is slowly learning. He enjoys being in the crate when its open but not when its closed... i try to leave him in there for a bit so he gets used to it when we are away...

He is really smart and when its time to go to bed he lays on my bed and falls right to sleep as soon as i turn off the lights and he lets me know in the morning when he is ready to get up and its usually somewhere from 8-9 and that as well means he has to go potty : )  i try to praise him as much as possible and he is getting there...i want to start showing him some tricks soon!  i can already see how smart he is from the first night i had him.

Thank you soo much michelle and i have attached some photos of DJ : )

I will stay in touch!

-Karen

Mystery comes for boarding while her Family is away...
(Born here at Private Label, Mystery was adopted by Isla, Colin & Douglas as a puppy)

"Michelle - I think Colin will bring Mystery over tonight as I'm busy trying to get packed etc!  There should be plenty of food for her.  We usually cover her crate with a blanket at night and I packed treats and CHEWS!!!  Hopefully all will go well.
Thank you so much for this - I feel very reassured that she will be in loving & great care!
-Isla"
After 20 days apart, Mystery gives Douglas a big hug, happy to see him.  It was a wonderful experience having Mystery at "Summer Camp" while her family was vacationing.  She has grown into a warm, loving, and well mannered dog, through the love and attention of this family!

It's been a while...

A Match Made in Heaven!
"Hi Michelle,
Harry and I had a good night. He slept right through the night in the dog carrier next to my bed.  Right now he is sleeping on my foot while I work in my office. I love how he just plops down, closes his eyes and is asleep within seconds. Oso isn't quite sure what to make of Harry. They have tried to socialize several times. Harry is more interested in playing and Oso is trying to figure out just what Harry is.  Harry is one smart little guy.
Thanks again for delivering Harry.
Keep in touch.
Linnette "
"Hi Michelle,
Harry did really well this morning. He let me know when he had to go out to do his business. I have been excercising him (and me) by putting him on the bottom step of on the first floor. Then I run up the stairs and he follows me. He is so cute to watch.  My husband has fallen in love with him too.  Oso is getting so much attention. She isn't quite sure about the puppy yet. She seems more annoyed than upset and just walks away when Harry want to play.  I put a full lenth mirror, propped up on the wall and laying horizontally. Harry is having a great time trying to get to the puppy in the mirror.
I have been reading everything I Get my hands on to learn more about Poms and Pekinese.Harry and I are going to take a ride up to Pet Smart to get some moret toys.
Take care,
Linnette "

"He still sleeps with me everynight. As soon as I put him on the bed he goes to his spot and lays down.
I love, love, love this little guy!.
Linnette  "

A New Home for "RB" - Now known as "CJ"!

Thank you Michelle for letting us adopt our new baby. We have a new name for him  ** CJ
He is adjusting well to his new home.  He is learning to potty outside, eating and
drinking water good.  He plays with his toys, he doesn't cry but a minute or
two when I put him to bed at night.  He doesn't like to be held for very long, but
will lay on Charlie's feet to sleep.  Our bird *Buddy has accepted him
Being in the house, I think they will be friends before long.
Thanks again,
Jan and Charlie and CJ

Sadie finds her forever home!

"Hi Michelle,
Things are going great!  Dusty and Sadie get along fine and she seems really happy.  I think we have tired her out with all the attention.  Thought you would enjoy these first pictures.  I'll talk to you again soon.  Thank you so very much.
We just love her."

Bambi goes camping...

"Dear Michelle, here are some updated pictures of Bambi.  We went on a camping trip for a week, she loved the outdoors.  We have so much fun.  Its been just about a year now and we have become inseparable.  Thank you for all your help and assistance in finding my forever companion and friend.  Thanks your friend Dianna"

Jesse, growing up with love...
"Hi Michelle!
I'm sorry I have neglected to send you a picture and update of Jesse til this point! She is doing great and running around my feet right now...means I probably should have taken her on a longer walk today...haha. She is precious and my little shadow! Definitely growing a lot! She is responding very well to her training and only whines when I leave her during the day, so we are still working on that. She is pretty much completely potty trained and only has the occasional accident when someone comes over and she hasn't peed in a while, so she gets a little too excited. But I can't be mad at her for that, she's just happy! She is even waiting by the door when she needs to go out...such a fast learner!

Her vet appointment went very well! She got her vaccines, and had a negative test for the worms, plus her "hot spot" and spay scar have healed perfectly. So I was a happy Mommy after that check up. I took her to my parents' house in Nashville, TN after the check up for a couple of days, and she traveled amazingly and loved my 10 year old black lab, Samson, and 7 year old border collie, Angel. They didn't know what to do with a puppy, but they all wrestled and got along great, which was definitely encouraging! Jesse also met my parents then, and they love her too...especially my mom! She is begging me to bring Jesse back soon.
Hope all is going well with your new litter of puppies! And the rest of the doggies at your house! Again, thank you so much for Jesse! She is a blessing and my best friend! Whenever I leave her, I can't wait to get back to her. She's most of my life now!"

Anna W. King

P.S. I've attached 3 pictures...one of me, Jesse, and Samson, then one of Jesse and Angel playing fetch (both at my parents house), and a more recent one of Jesse and I on the couch at home! Enjoy!

Private Label's "Shotgun" is a Birthday Surprise success!

"Oh my, I now know I made the right decision.  Carl was so excited and acts like he is a first time daddy again.  Getting up at 6:45 is all new but I think we will be able to adjust that eventually.  Our 14 year old black lab is refusing to look at Millie and won't return her licks.  It is hard to be de-throned as a life long queen. Our lab is being kind but won't acknowledge Millie yet.  She saw the vet on Thursday and got a good bill of health.  She was some under-weight and we are feeding her 3 X a day for a couple of weeks. She was started on the tablet you sent and now some Frontline.  You can change her name she is officially -Millie-.  I have received all notifications that we talked about.  Thanks for taking good care of her until she found her new home!  I will send a photo soon for you to enjoy."
- Pamela Southerland

Sarah Watkins

Congratulations Douglas, Isla & Colin, on your newest additon to the family! "Mystery" will bring you lots of smiles & laughter!  She is so lucky to be so close to her sister Violet as they grow up with you!

"Hi Michelle,
I'll have to admit Isis has been perfect...I just spent several days with her at our place in Swansboro while Dianne was working in Chapel Hill. She (Isis) loves the truck, loves the water, has been absolutely no maintenance and is very very lovable...she keeps an eye on me (I mean) all the time....and that little tail is just wag, wag, wagging...........so , thanks (a lot)."

(thank you Ron & Dianne, and Missy for giving Isis such a wonderful "Forever Family"! Congratulations!)

Update May 28, 2009
Bailee look how you've grown!  You've mastered "sit" and "paws up", a very smart little girl.  Back for a short visit to be spayed, all the happy paws here at Private Label will miss your enthusiasm at playtime, and all those magic kisses!  You & mom are an awesome team!

"Hi Michelle,
Just a note to let you know I finally renamed Goo Goo.
With the help of my granddaughter, we named him Patch.  It seems to fit his personality as well as his looks.
He's doing well, except a little lonliness at night.  Of course he's with me all day so he and I are getting acquainted and very attached to each other.
Thanks for your help and patience in my selection.  I think I made a great choice."
Dennis

"Here are some pictures of Chevy! She loves to play and is doing well on her potty training :) She's so cute! She and my other dog, Dakota, have been playing non stop...Chevy hides under chairs and tables and swats at Dakota, and sometimes sneaks up on Dakota and pounces on her tail or tries to bite her ears. It's hilarious to watch :) Thanks so much for my puppy!! I love her!"
Kathy

"I just wanted to give you an update on how fabulous Cloe is! We all just love her (well, maybe our indoor cat, Sophie, has a different opinion for now, but we are sure she will love her too soon!) She is so good and loving. She loves to snuggle with us and will fall asleep if anyone is holding her close. Her first night here, she cried quite a bit in her crate, however, last night, she went to sleep in her crate around 10:30 pm and we did not hear a peep from her until 5:30 this morning. Her crate was even clean & dry, no accidents! She loves all her new toys and playing with the girls. She does run out of energy quickly after playing and that's when she likes to snuggle and fall asleep. We heard her tiny bark yesterday for the first time when she barked once at our cat.    You can be assured that Cloe is well taken care of and very much loved!"

Adult Male Feist Named "Stinker"!
THIS DOG HAS FOUND A FOREVER HOME!

"Stinker", was named by his 75 year old original gentleman owner.  It seems this little fella was quite a handleful as a pup, and has now been placed in a foster home.  Abraham Lincoln wrote of the Feist dog in a poem, "The Bear Hunt".  Actually, today Feists are best known for hunting squirrels by "treeing" the squirrel - once trapped in the tree, the Feist will bark and circle the tree until called back.  "Stinker", is a 2 year old unaltered male, white with  golden/brown patches.  A natural bob tail with straight up ears, this guy is ready for some room to run!  At approx. 22 pounds, the Feist is all legs.  Fast, agile, and still young enough to train for the hunting enthusist.  A great alert dog for a country setting, or a family home with a large fenced yard.  A perfect companion looking for his, "Forever Home"!

Congratulations to Brian in Concord, enjoy the hunt!

"SIMBA" is a male Jack Russell Terrier
"Simba" has found a Forever Home!
  Congratulations!
(thank you to all who inquired, keep checking back...)

this little guy is an adult unaltered male, with a docked tail.  White with Brown markings, "Simba" is great with small children, other pets, and despartely needs a family or human to love!  This is a low maintenance dog, with a short coat, and short floppy ears.  Great for apartment life, a family home, or life in the country!  Jacks are known for their love & curiousity of squirrels.  He is still young enough to be trained to hunt; at the same time, give him an extended leash on the sidewalk & wait for him to spot the furry tail of a squirrel hoping about!  This is a small breed fella with no papers.

Keep checking back for further updates...
