These sweet little Chinese Shar-Pei, were born August 31,2009. They are a unique and intelligent dog most often recognized for its wrinkles. Initially developed as a Chinese working dog, the breed does well today in obedience, agility, herding and tracking, with skills that would have been needed on the farm.

The Shar Pei is often suspicious of strangers, which pertains to their origin as a guard dog. In general the breed has proved itself to be a loving, devoted family dog. They are also a very independent and reserved breed.

The Shar Pei is extremely devoted, loyal and affectionate to its family, and is a largely silent breed, barking only when playing or when worried. The Shar Pei were originally bred as palace guards in China. While this breed is adorable it is also very protective of its home and family, a powerful dog that is willing to guard its family members.

The adoption fee is $425.00, which includes, CKC Puppy Registration form, certificate of registration in your name for pup’s Microchip, shelter care emergency health insurance, 45 days free. A low cost Spay/Neuter voucher, with free transport from this facility. Female spay is $45, Male neuter is $40. A Gift Certificate for a free physical and examination, as well as free flea treatment.

Once again a great success!  Three puppies adopted & Rider finally finds a family!

 

Sunday, 07/19/2009 More Low Cost Adoptions PLUS bring your dog & have his/her nails Trimmed!

Wow!  A Saint Bernard to a tiny Chihuahua & everything in between went "paws wild" for their nail trim!  The remaining SharPei/ShebaInu puppies found homes, along with 3 Spaniel mix pups & Hampton found his "Forever Home"!

 

Saturday, 07/25/2009 Even More Low Cost Rescue Adoptions,

PLUS Rabies & Microchip Clinic!

Thanks to EVERYONE who turned out for this event!  Every dog on site found a New "forevere home", Including Doris Day!  A steady flow of puppies, dogs, & cats came for Rabies vaccines and/or microchips!  There were coloring books & crayons for the kids, Biscuitville treated every dog to a freshly made "doggie biscuit", The Dog Food Reps were out to help with proper selection & tons of give-a-ways - a great party!

Rider finds a new Family!
 
Rider had been at this facility since January 2009.  He came to us weighing only 20 pounds, and was very afraid of people.  After much care & love, Rider is now healthy and has found his “Forever Home”!  Still a bit timid, Rider loves to play and run.  He is very gentle, and will make a great pet for children in his family who can help him come out of his shell.  Rider has room to run and daily exercise.  Rider has been re-named, and now resides in the city, with a big fenced yard.

Mountain Cur at Stud
 

Buck, is a 2 year old yellow Cur with beautiful brown eyes.  Sired by "Sq. Creek's Let "R" Rip", Rip is a UKC, NKC, USDR Sq. Champion.  A superior bloodline, and is a proven hunter. We live in a country setting, born, raised, and trained in central North Carolina. This stud is of excellent confirmation, and dual registered.

I have two options for stud fee. The first is $100.00 (less than the price of 1 puppy) and the entire litter is yours. (If by chance it does not take I will stud again during the next heat or until she does conceive) Option number two is PICK of the litter.
